Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa
 
Jordan has been appointed as the Cedar Rapids District Manager for Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa.  In this position, Jordan is responsible for leading our largest regional service market and board of nearly 40 executive leaders.  Jordan's background is diverse - demonstrating key leadership roles, responsibilities, and successes throughout college and beyond that span local engagement to international humanitarian service.  Despite family roots firmly planted in Eastern Iowa, Jordan has traveled the globe establishing a Mission Development Center and leadership site in Ghana, Africa, where she established infrastructure and educated women and children on economic and self-sufficiency programs.  Not only did she develop these programs, but she launched the skills training processes for a mission center that housed women coming out of sex trafficking and organized education opportunities for kids of poverty. 
 
As you can see, she has already contributed a lifetime of leadership and work around the globe.  Jordan is an impressive and thoughtful advocate of health, children, faith and family, economics, capitalism, and education.  She truly embodies the fine qualities of a true Rotarian.  In her free time, Jordan volunteer’s locally with Antioch Christian Church as a weekly pre-school teacher and community clean-up volunteer.  She is also in the process of adopting two young girls from Ghana.  She is a compassionate leader that is very interested in community building and civic leadership.  Jordan will not be only an asset to our Club on a weekly basis, but will strive to get involved with International projects, will be someone who will be actively engaged and will undoubtedly contribute to the good endeavors of our Club in many other ways.  Jordan resides in Marion Iowa, is an Iowa State Alum, and enjoys spending time with her family.
